Opus Ceramic Tipped Gauge Blocks
are manufactured to the tolerances of  EN ISO:3650:1998.

The body of the gauge block is made from high quality stabilised steel, the tips are made from an exceptionally pure grade of Zirconia ceramic material.

Key Benefits of Opus Ceramic Tipped Gauge Blocks

  • Each gauge block has clamping holes towards both ends so that Opus toggle clamps can be used to achieve combined lengths safely
  • Ceramic tips and steel body combines the mechanical and thermal characteristics of steel with the longevity and wear characteristics of ceramic
  • All gauges certified in our own UKAS  Accredited Calibration Laboratory with a best uncertainty of measurement of 0.2 +(1 x L) m where L is the length of the gauge block  in metres.
  • Available in sets or as standard size individuals up to 500mm.
  • Manufactured to EN ISO:3650:1998 available in Grades 0,1 and 2
  • Standard set composition ML8 comprises 125, 150, 175, 200, 250, 300, 400 & 500 mm
  • Gauges are easily and securely combined using Opus Toggle Clamps
